A material word is useful only when it is tied to the exact model. ‘Silicone’ does not automatically mean medical-grade, body-safe certified, non-porous or fully waterproof. Treat the catalog label as evidence of composition—not as permission to infer a certification the seller has not documented.
Read the specification, then read the gap
A useful listing separates documented facts from marketing language. Look for an exact material line, dimensions, power method and any explicit water-resistance statement. If the page only says ‘premium’ or ‘soft’, those are descriptions, not test results.
For mixed-material products, cleaning may differ between the contact surface and powered body. Keep charging ports and electronics dry unless the exact product guidance explicitly says otherwise.
